NORTH CIRCUIT
Arequita Hill
10 Kilometers to the North of the city, through the Valeriano Magri Road, the visitor enters to a mysterious world of flora, fauna and geology, in an unusual landscape. There it come across, as a giant made of Granite, the AREQUITA HILL. An elevation of volcanic origin of 230 meters of height, presenting a spacious cavern that is a big attraction to travelers visiting this area.
On-site operates the hostel and restaurant Mirador, which offers within its services a guided visit to the Cavern and the possibility to climb to the top of the Hill.
The Arequita is mysteriously surrounded by native forest, and in her lap is located the called by the locals Isla DE OMBUES, a strange set of these native trees, which form a compact group growing between the stones.
Very close to the Hill on the banks of the Santa Lucia River it is found the Municipal campsite, with capacity for 3,000 people, offering Cabins and a model infrastructure.
Lake of Vultures
2 kilometers beyond the Arequita is the LAGUNA DE LOS CUERVOS, a widening of the Santa Lucia River formed beneath the Hill of crows, it is part of the paradise set. Offers Cabins, camping and recreational services.
