Parks 

The city is surrounded by several parks with picnic facilities, shaded by variety of trees and designed gardens. 

Southward, along the promenades of the San Francisco Creek are the Park ZORRILLA DE SAN MARTÍN and FABINI Park, which is encircled by the More Ester promenade, and its Hector Leis walk, counting with a Parador, skating rink and a walk with balconies and staircases. 

Also, on the same Creek, is the dam and Park OSE, with an enormous reservoir of water ideal for fishing, obliged point of visit by tourists and trekkers coming to Minas.

Artigas Hill

Few minutes from the Centre, on Avenue of the Instructions, going to the northeast it is found the Hill and Park Artigas, with its already historic and iconic monument of the National Hero and Father of the land, the General José Artigas, on the top, the hill is 280 meters above the sea level. The top it can be accessed by car, to enjoy an excellent panoramic view of Minas and its surroundings.

Rodo Park 

It is located at the North, on San Martín Avenue. For the extents and amenities is one of the favorite for hikers who visit the city. Inside it is found the Municipal swimming pool, it has an Inn, playgrounds and a great setting for shows, where every year takes place April and Minas Festival.
